Of particular interest are the recordings of interviews he conducted while writing his textbook, The American Polity: The People and Their Government. Archives & Special Collections, University of Connecticut Library Dr. Ladd was a Professor at the University of Connecticut from 1969 until his death in 1999. The collection was donated in 2000. Additional materials were transferred from the Roper Center in 2010. The collection contains the professional papers of Dr. Ladd, professor of political science and director of the Roper Center at the University of Connecticut.
