There is an article on the rally held by the Storrs chapter of the International Committee Against Racism, as well as a letter from Rev. Benjamin Chavis from jail to President Carter appealing for clemency for himself and the Wilmington 10. Also included is an article about Manny Lomax, the new Director of Heritage Theatre; a profile of UConn soccer player Medrick Innocent; and a piece about UConn administrator Freda Peters and her work with minority students.
