My Dear Brother,
I have a book which I wish very much to have bound before I leave town, if there is time to have it done. I sent a note to you to the Post Office on Tuesday, not thinking that as you had just received a letter from father, you would have no motive for calling there every day. If you think it can be done, -- indeed, whether you do or not, I should like to have you call here—perhaps when you return from dinner will be the best time, as I shall be out this afternoon and evening. If you can come here conveniently, I will tell you all about it. It will not be worth while for you to come before that, I think, unless you think that so little time is left, that we shall be obliged to hurry to have it done at all.
Yours &c,
Friday Morning. C.L.C.
Even if you think it cannot be done, I should like to have you call at noon, and then I should feel satisfied to give it up.
