Show moreA clip from a black and white motion picture, with sound, about the development of aviation in Connecticut from 1921 when the first air meet was held, to the present (circa 1930) when there was a New England air meet with 17 stops, one of which was Brainard Field. A significant portion of the clip is devoted to Hartford's own Pratt & Whitney, the producer of the hornet engine for airplanes. Most of the footage was taken inside the plant. Show less
