My Dear Wife I received your Letter which I never Expected to get from you these lines leave me well at present + I hope that they may find you Engoying the same blessing you seamed to think that I was hard in saying what I did in Janes letter that I sent her you wold said the same if you had Been in my situation but never mind I expect to be at home shortley now + then wee shall not Bother about sending letters to each other your Brother has Gorn to the hospital to day May the 24 he is very sick + if he should Get better
in a few dayes I think they will send him home the Doctor said that he was very bad off + that he was good for nothing here he also said that if he Could have his kind of medicines that he Could cure him Entireley you Spoke about some money I am short of money now But I will send you 2 Dollare + A ring in this + if wee get payed off this month I will send you some + I want to send you the picture of our Camp they are for sale now their is 15 thousand prisnores here now of the Rebs + as soon as wee Can get relieved wee shall leave for home they send a great many off Evry weeak
