The tree in the lawn at the right appears to be a fruit tree, possibly an apple tree. An arbor covered with vines, probably grapevines, is at the far right. The large brick church with two square towers, a transept, side aisles and clerestory windows, is Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Frame houses are in the left background.
