McK[ernan] / Ropkins & C[ompany] / Ales Port[ers] / Highland / Lager B[eer]" "Ice Cream Parlor."

Title supplied by cataloger. The Public Market Co. was located at 609-613 Main Street. John H. McKernan operated a saloon at 532 Main Street. Ropkins & Co. were brewers of Canada malt ales and porter, located at 232-242 Sheldon Street, Hartford.
