Show moreView of a plaster model for a sculpture by Elbert Weinberg entitled Between Heaven and Earth. The headless, armless figure of a man appears to be supporting something on its shoulders. At least three separate and different models exist for this subject. This version is twenty-five inches high. The date is uncertain but it was probably made about 1987, when a color slide of another version was taken. This photograph probably dates from the early 1990s, following the death of the sculptor.
