Two Cats

Two Cats

View of a terra cotta sculpture by Elbert Weinberg representing two cats. Each cat has its back arched and is balanced somewhat precariously on what appears to be a post. The two cats share a common base. The sculpture is eight inches high. The title is ascribed. It is not known what Weinberg called this work. The date of the sculpture is not known, but it is likely that it was made in the early 1980s, about the same time as other cat sculptures by Weinberg. The photograph may have been taken about the same time.
