The Heublein Hotel is visible behind them. The 1920 city directory identifies the Heublein Hotel as located at 98 Wells Street, and an advertisement in the directory gives the location as the junction of Trumbull, Gold and Lewis Streets. Part of a series of images of flooded areas of Hartford, one of which is dated circa 1924. There was a major flood in 1927, and the photographs may depict that time period rather than 1924. Show less
