Title supplied by cataloger. Silas Greenman helped launch the Greenman family business enterprises in Mystic, the first of the four Greenman brothers to be involved in the Mystic shipbuilding industry. After a number of years working in both Mystic and Westerly, Silas returned to the family's native Westerly, Rhode Island and established a shipyard there. His son George S. joined him in that firm, known as Silas Greenman & Son.
