Two men and a woman stand at the wheel aboard the two-masted coasting schooner Alice S. Wentworth. They are identified as Captain "Zeb" Tilton, Gertrude W. and C.F. Sayle. Captain Tilton is probably the man on the right.

Title supplied by cataloger. Built in South Norwalk, 1863, as the Lizzie A. Tolles, rebuilt in Wells, Maine in 1905. As the Alice S. Wentworth, she carried a variety of cargo, including coal, coke and salt, from port to port along the Massachusetts and Maine coasts. Captain Tilton was one of a group that purchased the Alice S. Wentworth from Captain Arthur A. Stevens in 1921.
