Description
Horse-drawn sleds and people in winter clothing are in the middle of Main Street. Huge piles of snow are on either side. Other people stand on the sidewalks. Fame and brick commercial buildings line the street. The steeples of the South Baptist Church and the South Congregational Church are on the right. Signs read: "Yee Wor / Laundry" "P.H. Smith / Hacks / and / Busses / Livery Stable" "Ruppert's New York / Lager" "Kenney & Dillon / Undertakers" "F.W. Burnham / Livery / & / Boarding / Stable" "Binns & Dow / Sale Horses" "Furniture" "Steamship Agency" "Burke Bros." Leafless trees appear to be elms.
