Show moreThe Clothing sub-collection contains many garments and accessories worn by Charles S. Stratton ("General Tom Thumb"), M. Lavinia Warren (Stratton's wife), and Lavinia's sister, Huldah "Minnie" Warren, all of whom were little people. Clothing worn by P. T. Barnum includes a top hat he purchased when he was in his twenties, a ruffled shirt with embroidered initials, and a seal fur-lined winter coat. Garments worn by the Strattons and Warren include jackets, suits, a fur cape, a silk bodice, a nightgown, stockings, and corsets, as well as footwear and other accessories. Charles S.
