Four views of the Norwich area. At the top, the largest view is from the south, looking toward the confluence of the Yantic and Shetucket Rivers and downtown Norwich. The steamers Charles Osgood and Connecticut, several other vessels, two trains (one on either side of the Thames) and Central Wharf can be seen. Title, at bottom, reads "View of Norwich from the South/1853". Smaller views, from left to right, depict "Norwich Falls," "Otis Library" and "Greenville (Norwich)".
