Title supplied by cataloger. Albumen print mounted on white card with rounded corners, in album containing Asa and James Dean Fish family photographs. James Dean Fish (1819-1912) was a Mystic native, son of Asa Fish and Prudence Dean. James Dean Fish became a well-known New York city businessman and banker, his Marine National Bank prospering from the 1860's to its collapse in 1884. His store and later banking business were important in establishing and maintaining a Mystic-New York connection. His career ended dramatically in financial scandal that had national and local impact.
