This second and final issue of the Husky Handjob (March 3, 1969) continues its mission to provide UConn students and faculty with a radical look at politics and society on the local and national levels. The issue discusses the newly established Black Students Union at UConn, and contains speeches from the memorial service for Malcolm X. The periodical also addresses the state of social activism on campus. This includes updates on some of the events discussed in the first issue, such as the protest against recruitment on campus for the Dow Chemical Corporation, and the university’s actions against politically active professors.
