Description
Governor Ribicoff's proposed budget for the next biennium. He noted the remarkable growth in the state and therefor his budget contains additional spending. He suggests additional funding to the Department of Mental Health, for education in general, and for the State Police so they can patrol the new Connecticut Turnpike. Other proposals include creating a Department of "Mental Retardation," reorganizing the Department of Motor Vehicles, and unifying the court system.
