Description
Panoramic view of the village of Norfolk from an elevated viewpoint. Houses and outbuildings, including barns and sheds, dot fields and pastures divided by rail fences and stone walls. The building with the steeple is the Congregational Church. One house has a mansard roof. A large greenhouse and a stone arched bridge are towards the left. Cows graze in a pasture in the center. Wooded hills, including Haystack Mountain with a tower on its summit, are in the background. Inscribed on back: "Norfolk from the South East."
