View up a hill across a field towards the ruined stone walls of Newgate Prison on the hilltop. A dilapidated wooden building is at the far right. A ruined and roofless stone building with bars at some windows is at the left. A frame building with a wooden tower with porches and an observation deck is to the left of these ruins. Trees include cedars and possibly pines and birches. Inscribed on back: "Newgate Prison."
