It includes an interview with Georgia Congressman and civil rights activist Julian Bond, who discusses the problems facing black communities around the US, his work as the co-founder of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee, and the importance of the participation of black people in local and national politics. The issue also contains an article exposing the racism within the American justice system, and includes a statement by the National United Committee to Free Angela Davis and other political prisoners.
