Description |
Description
Adena-like projectile point from South Glastonbury, Connecticut. The rounded tapered stem on this point is very similar to Adena points from the Midwest. The blade itself is short and appears to have been worked down to a small size. Adena-related finds have been made in parts of Connecticut, including Old Saybrook, South Windsor and Glastonbury. Exotic items such as this may have carried a high prestige value for their owner.
