This issue of Contac from November, 1978 features an article on the historic contributions of Black Americans, an account of UConn’s annual Day of Pride, and a piece encouraging minority students to organize and work for change on campus. Also included is an article welcoming new minority students to UConn, information about the Puerto Rican Student Movement and the Afro-American Cultural Center, and an editorial about the closing ceremony of UConn’s Summer Program.
