Description
Women wearing Shaker bonnets and aprons stand in a dirt road in front of a board fence and gate. They hold large tree branches. Additional women stand behind the fence near the Trustee's Office, a frame building with louvered shutters, two front doors, and a porch. A deacon's bench and a chair are on the porch and a broom hangs on the wall. The large brick building in the background with a stone foundation, brackets beneath the roof and a cupola is the Church family dwelling house. The date "1876" is in the gable. Some trees appear to be fruit trees. Inscribed on back: "Unidentified ... Enfield Shaker / Removed from almost empty album 3/1986."
