Description
Nathan Bulkley house, with shed roof. The Bulkley house was built in 1750 by Nathan Bulkley, who became an advocate for independence and also served as the Town Clerk from 1754 until about 1787. The house was set ablaze by the British in 1779 but was saved by Fairfield scouts who followed the invaders.
