Description
Interior of nave and chancel of a Gothic church has pointed arches, stained glass windows, statues of saints and relief panel depicting the Crucifixion, Deposition and presumably other scenes from the life of Christ. A carved pulpit is at the right, near the columns supporting the vaults of the side aisles. A wedding is taking place in front of the Gothic altarpiece. Potted palms and floral arrangements are on either side. Men and women stand in the wooden pews in the foreground.Inscribed on back: "Saint Joseph's Cathedral / Destroyed by Fire Dec. 31, 1956."
