Description
A one and half story wooden gambrel roofed building with a door on the left end of the front. Over the door is a sign that reads "War Office, 1727-1785." A stone with metal plaque sits in the front yard. A well with a lifting lever sits to the left of the building and a flagpole to the right.Building used by Jonathan Trumbull of Lebanon as a business office, during the Revolutionary War, Governor Trumbull used the building for meetings of the Council of Safety to plan Connecticut aid to the Continental Army.
