Description
Two and half story Greek Revival house with porch on left end and large rectangular attic window.Currently known as Gleason-Harger House, the photograph cites a building date of 1744, but the "Historic Buildings of Connecticut" website states that Chauncey Gleason built the house in 1784. Around 1835 the house was acquired by Baptist Deacon John Wesley Harger, who replaced the original gambrel roof and likely is responsible for the house's present Greek Revival style.
