A teacher instructs a class of 6 boys and 1 girl on a Fourth of July story on a poster hang from above the blackboard. Another poster has lists of vocabulary words. A Woodford insurance calendar hung on the wall to the left shows the month of January. The teacher's desk is between the class and the photographer.No. 5 School, also known as Old Towpath School was built in 1879 and saw various additions between 1909 and 1923.
