Description
This banjo-style wall clock was used inside the train station at Hopewell Junction, New York, located on the Highland Division of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad. A separate clock hand was included for "New York time" because mean time settings were locally determined, not standardized throughout large geographic zones as they are today.
