Caption clipping on reverse reads: "TRUCK from capsized potato car that tumbled down embankment in New Haven freight derailment at New London lies in foreground as firemen continue to battle fire that broke out in loaded box car. Upturned freight landed on top Harrison St. bridge after leaving the tracks. Eight other cars were derailed". Stamped on reverse, in addition to date: "HARTFORD TIMES PHOTO MORTON J.
