Description
View of Procession No. 2, a group of bronze sculptures by Elbert Weinberg on the grounds of Temple Beth El in West Hartford, Connecticut. The individual figures represent a rabbi with a book, a rabbi holding Torah scrolls, and two rabbis with shofars. The sculptures are surrounded by low ground cover. Temple Beth El is in the background. The sculptures were dedicated on October 26, 1975. The photographs taken on that occasion show fall foliage in the background and the groundcover surrounding the sculptures is smaller. This photograph was probably taken a few years later, possibly about 1980. The color photocopy was probably made sometime after the death of the sculptor in 1991.
