Description
One story brick schoolhouse lengthened by a wooden extension on the gable end with entrance door covered by an overhang. A shed with attached outhouse stands the right of the school. A number of boulders by a dirt road occupy the foreground. The town of Woodstock website notes that the present school was built around 1854 to replace a 1738 building. The wooden extension was removed when the building was removed to its new site in front of the Woodstock Elementary School.
