Description
Dilapidated stone and frame structure with cupola, finial, fanlight, and multiple doors. A crumbling stone wall with attached stair and door runs in front of the building. Inside the courtyard, a door and banister are visible. Trees, grass, and a short vertical pole are outside the structure. Inscribed on front: "Old Newgate Prison / Drawn by Geo. E. Townsend / 9th Dec. 1863 / from a sketch made Sept. 1861."
