The Lentz Collection was donated to Dr. Daniel Adler at the University of Connecticut as a teaching collection. Dr. Thomas Lentz, professor emeritus of cell biology at Yale, is an avid collector of many forms of technology, and ancient stone tool technology particularly interested him. With Dr. Thomas Lentz’s generous donation to the University of Connecticut, students will be better able to engage with holistic and nuanced approaches to understanding the relationship between human origins and technology.
